Third graders decorating gingerbread houses yesterday. 'Tis the Season for FUN!
JCS alumni Rachel (Hollingsworth) Parker taught a lesson to third graders about Hanukkah. The Parker family ministered in Israel for a number of years. Students learned the history of Hanukkah, looked at symbols related to Hanukkah and Jesus, and played the dreidel game.
4th and 5th graders are studying series circuits and parallel circuits in science class.
Therapy dogs (Brucey and Shaley) visit JCS Elementary to help motivate, encourage and support student reading.
PK4 enjoyed Cozy Christmas Day complete with pajamas, Christmas tree making and watching a movie at rest time.
