The Preschool program is for children who are 4 years old by September 1 or who are not developmentally ready to enter a kindergarten program. The preschool program centers on developing pre-reading skills and number sense in preparation for the kindergarten experience. The program also develops social skills and community awareness among the children. Pre-school students also participate in the music, art, and physical education programs at JCS.
