SAT Scores: The graduating class of 2017 had an average SAT which outscored all local school districts in all three areas of the test.
Scholarships: The Class of 2017 (13 students) was offered over $630,000 in scholarships for higher education. 92% went on to higher education.
Dual Enrollment: Qualified high school students can take advantage of Penn Highlands’ and/or Mount Aloysius College (*newly added 2017-18 school year) fully accredited dual enrollment program, where students have the opportunity to enroll in college-level courses taught here at JCS. Dual enrollment provides both high school and college credit allowing students to fulfill high school graduation requirements while earning college credits.
Transportation: Provided by 11 school districts.
STEM: JCS offers an FLL Robotics Team (Middle School) that has won numerous awards at the local FLL competition. This program gives our students the necessary skills to continue on to the FTC Robotic Doges program (affiliated with Laural Highlands Education and Robotics). Robotic Doges have also won numerous awards and finished in the final four at the world championship last year.
Music and Drama Programs: For the 2017-18 school year, 76% of our 120 secondary students are participating in either instrumental or vocal music programs and musical productions.
Athletics: Teams are a member of PIAA and are competitive with other area Christian schools and public schools.
