Make A Difference in the Lives of Your Children
How you will educate your children is one of the most important decisions you will make as parents. Please be sure you have intentionally chosen the school your child will attend. We invite you to contact JCS to receive more information or schedule a visit. Apply to JCS today to become a part of our dynamic, Christ-centered learning environment.
Step 1: Let Us Know You are Interested!
Thank you for your interest in Johnstown Christian School. Please complete the JCS Inquiry Form (click link). Our Admissions Office will contact you and provide the information you desire.
Step 2: Visit the School
We understand that a campus visit is not a matter of “one size fits all.” The nature of your tour will differ slightly depending on the specific needs and questions of your family, so we offer a variety of ways to observe our school first-hand. A campus visit to JCS is the best way to experience the culture of our school, share your hopes for your student, and learn about what we do differently. We consider a visit the first step in the admissions process so that you can determine if JCS is a good fit for your family. There are countless reasons why families choose JCS for their child’s education. What will yours be?
Step 3: Complete Application
Complete the FAMILY and STUDENT APPLICATIONS and return them to us along with a one-time application fee of $50.00 per family. If you have more than one child applying, please complete a separate application for each child. As soon as we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule a parent interview. Please include copies of school transcripts and testing information at the time of application and prior to the interview.
Step 4: Interview
Interviews will be scheduled with the Head of School and Department Principal to discuss enrollment. One interview will be held with both parents. Students in grades 6-12 will also attend the interview. FINAL ACCEPTANCE is made by the School Board, following the recommendation of the Admissions Committee. After the board makes its decision, you will be notified.
Step 5: Tuition Assistance
Submit an application for tuition assistance (FACTS) if applicable. Third-party scholarships are also available.
