JCS was represented by Ellie Speigle at the 2024 PMEA Region III Band Festival held at Bald Eagle Area School District in February. Dr. Jonathan Helmick, Director of Bands and Associate Professor of Music at Slippery Rock University, was the guest conductor. Over 150 student musicians from 100 different school districts made up the ensemble. The festival concluded with a fantastic concert on Saturday, February 24.
