Megan Hodges (‘20) returned to Lima, Peru, in July with her brother Zachary (‘17) and a group of people from her church, Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. While they were there, they served many children and families. They went out into the community and shared a Bible lesson with the children, passed out bread and hot chocolate, and gave them a treat bag with candy, soap, a toothbrush, and other necessities. The team also built a few houses for some families. Megan enjoyed playing with the children and forming relationships with everyone. She learned that you do not need material things to be happy.
