JCS BookJays participated in the IU8 Reading Competition held on Wednesday, December 5. The team scored 58 points, earning them a 1st place ribbon! The 5th and 6th grade team members have been preparing since May, reading books and practicing quizzing. As a team they read a total of 165 books with two of the team members reading all 40 books on the list.
