On Friday, February 2, Johnstown Christian School’s middle school robotics team, the RoboJays, visited API Technologies Corp. in Windber, PA. They were given a site tour from the EMS Division Site Manager, Nick Miller and were able to see how robots used by the US military were designed. Team members were also able to test drive one of these robots through an obstacle course. The students were able to drive the robot up stairs, pick up objects, and experience the 360-degree night vision capable cameras affixed to the robot.
