Reilly McKay (‘21) along with a team from his church, Pioneer Presbyterian, traveled to the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf in Knockpatrick, Jamaica. The team stayed at the main campus for a week helping in a variety of ways. They cleaned out a garage, began building a new chicken coop, started work on a new roof for one of the buildings, removed an old base, and began constructing a base to lay the concrete for another roof. This service trip really impacted Reilly, “I built relationships with some of the kids and built stronger ones with our team. I had so much fun, and it was very humbling to see how blessed I am to be living in America and be gifted with hearing.”
