The trail to becoming an Eagle Scout is long, but JCS senior William Blackford is nearing the end. A member of Troop 622 chartered by Roxbury St. Paul’s UMC, he has held positions of Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Order of the Arrow Troop representative. William is currently Quartermaster. For his Eagle Project, William refurbished the bleachers and picnic tables at the JCS soccer field. This included scraping and painting the bleacher seats, installing new kickboards, and replacing the railroad ties along the path in front of the bleachers. His proud parents are Mary and Rick Blackford.
