Congratulations to Jesse Dohey, Mikey Furdella, Alayna Monroe, Mary Hostetter, and Reilly McKay who competed in the ACSI District Spelling Bee on November 7, 2016, at Cambria County Christian School. Jesse won second place and Mikey won fourth place in the fifth grade competition. Alayna completed many rounds in the sixth grade bee. Mary won first place, and Reilly won third place in the seventh and eighth grade competitions respectively. Jesse, Mikey, Mary, and Reilly were in the final bee. Mikey won third place and is invited to participate in the ACSI Regional Bee which will be held in Lancaster early next year. Mary won sixth place and is an alternate. Congratulations to all of our students for taking on a big challenge and doing their best! They made JCS proud!
