Officer Phil visits the Elementary
Elementary students welcomed Officer Phil on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. The Officer Phil Safety Programs teaches children about stranger danger, the negative effects of bullying, fire safety, internet safety and respect for authority figures.

National Spanish Exams
Congratulations to several Spanish students from Johnstown Christian School who attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2017 National Spanish Examinations. ACSI Creative Writing Festival 2017
Congratulations to the eleven students who participated in the ACSI Creative Writing Contest. The participants’ written works were chosen by their classroom teachers to represent JCS in the ACSI Creative Writing Festival. Fifth Grade Authors’ Night
Fifth graders celebrated the completion of writing and illustrating their own books with an Authors’ Night on Thursday evening, May 18th. Students shared their book titles, covers, dedications, summaries, and author notes with family members and friends who attend. Each student received a Young Author Reward Certificate” and much applause from a very large, supportive audience. Try-Math-A-Lot
Four seventh graders from JCS competed in a sixth and seventh grade math competition called Try-Math-A-Lot at Central Cambria Middle School on Wednesday, May 10. On Monday, April 24, five students were inducted into the Miguel Cervantes Chapter of the Spanish Honor Society at Johnstown Christian School. ACSI Regional Speech Meet 2017
