Laura Courtney (HS English) returned to Kyiv, Ukraine, again this past August for her tenth trip to an evangelical English Camp for Ukrainian university students. This year, she was again the team leader as well as developing the curriculum that they use at the camp. Through the past decade, Laura has formed lasting relationships with the full-time missionaries as well as the Ukrainian students. One highlight this year was getting to partner in ministry with Vika, a student who came to know the Lord through the camp. Vika and her husband Dima are leaders in the home church. Laura was also able to work alongside Sadie Sprankle (‘13) who is now in full-time ministry in Ukraine.
