The 2022 Somerset County Band Festival was held at Conemaugh Township High School on November 30-December 1 with 165 students from 12 school districts. The Junior High Band was directed by Dr. Jason Worzbyt from IUP. The Senior High was directed by Dr. Ben Blasko from Lipsomb University, who graduated from CT in the mid 2000’s. Dr. Erik Frost from Messiah University directed the Percussion Ensemble. The festival culminated Thursday night with a wonderful concert, all three groups played extremely well for a standing room-only audience.
