Symbols of Christmas
The Symbols of Christmas skit was performed by the MS Drama Club for the school’s Christmas chapel. This skit tells of the meaning behind many of the items that we often take for granted such as the tree, ornaments, lights, star, and the candy cane.
Santa Classic Game
Seniors Lydia Hostetter and Ellie Speigle represented JCS in the Santa Soccer Classic game on November 21.

Spanish Honor Society 2024
On April 23, 2024, JCS inducted three new members into el Capítulo Miguel Cervantes de La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica. PMEA 6th Grade Band Fest
Penn Cambria School District hosted 6th grade Band Fest with guest conductor Lance Jones. Anthony Burkey and Ava Giardina represented JCS. Over 30 school districts attended with 150 students on stage for the concert. The students worked extremely hard and put on a great performance.

Regional Band
JCS was represented by Ellie Speigle at the 2024 PMEA Region III Band Festival held at Bald Eagle Area School District in February. Congratulations to the RoboJays for finishing 1st place in Robot performance at the FLL PA South-Central Tournament and 3rd place overall in all areas of the competition. They will advance to the state competition.
District 6 Chorus Festival 2024
Five JCS students represented Johnstown Christian School at the PMEA Region III Chorus Festival held at Westmont High School on January 24-26, 2024.
