The 2025 PMEA District 6 Band Festival was held at Bellwood-Antis School District with Dr. Ben Blasko, from Lipscomb University, guest conducting. JCS was represented by Lydia Hostetter and Ellie Speigle who both played extremely well. Friday night’s concert was fantastic in spite of the festival being delayed due to school closures and disrupted by faulty HVAC units at BASD. Lydia, Ellie and the other students from the 40 participating school districts did great even with all of the setbacks.
Congratulations to Ellie, who advances to the Region Festival in Altoona in March.
