Ellie Speigle represented JCS at the 2025 Region III Band Festival held at Altoona Area High School March 5-7. One hundred eighty-five students from 52 different schools were present for the festival. Dr. Russel McCutcheon, director of bands at the Sunderman Conservatory at Gettysburg College was guest conducting. The program included music both old and new from all around the world. The festival concluded Friday with a fantastic concert by all students involved.
